First, the things we got wrong

Already handled. No charge.

Two of the items you and Judy raised were our mistakes, not new work. We are not billing you for either one.

Done, live now
The phone number is correct
The site was showing 915-213-7178, a number nobody at 828 recognized. It came in through our onboarding form. It is gone. Your office line, 915-271-9524, is live on the site now.
In progress
The footer social links
Judy was right, the icons at the bottom were not reaching your pages on mobile. Instagram now points to @r828electric. Facebook is being restored to match.

The solar panel photos Angel flagged are already off the site. That was handled the same week you raised it.

Two phases. Approve either one.

They do not depend on each other. Take the site work now and the portal later, or the other way around, or both. Nothing here locks you into a contract.

Phase 1

The Site

The corrections you asked for, real photos of your crew, and a way for people to reach you without calling.

$959.40
$720 site work + 8.25% TX tax = $779.40
Plus $180 Google Business audit (professional services, not taxed)
  • Romans 8:28 in place of Colossians, with the meaning revealed on hover
  • A short line in About on where the name came from
  • Javi and your crew replacing the AI hero image and the stock panel photo
  • A portfolio section for the jobs you have already done
  • Contact form and a Text Us button, in English and Spanish
  • Google Business Profile audit, so it is off Angel's personal account
Phase 2

The Front Desk

Your portal switched back on, your number moved over before you leave Spectrum, and the domain your trucks already advertise.

$2,083.81
$1,925 setup + 8.25% TX tax = $2,083.81
Then $55/mo plus call and text usage, detailed below
  • Portal reactivated, Google, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and email in one inbox
  • Google reviews answered automatically, softer wording on anything under four stars
  • Sparky answering on the site in English or Spanish, handing off to your team in ten seconds
  • 915-271-9524 ported off Spectrum, so you keep the number
  • The site moved to 828electric.com, the address on your trucks
  • Lily trained on the portal, with Judy sitting in if she wants

Half on approval, half on delivery, for each phase. If a different split works better for the business, say so and we will set it that way.

What's Included

Line by line

Click any piece to see exactly what it covers.

01
The name, and where it came from
Phase 1
$180

Colossians 3:23 comes off the hero and Romans 8:28 goes in its place. Hovering over the verse opens a small animation with the words, so a visitor who does not know the reference still gets it.

  • Verse swapped on the hero, English and Spanish
  • Hover reveal so the verse opens inline instead of sitting there as a citation
  • Two or three sentences in About on where the name came from, written by us and sent to you for approval before it goes live
02
Real faces, in place of the AI image and the stock photo
Phase 1
$180

Angel's likeness comes off the hero. Javi goes up in its place, and the man in the unfamiliar uniform on the panel upgrades card gets replaced by one of your own crew.

  • Hero image replaced with Javi, or whoever you choose, from the photos your assistant is collecting
  • Panel upgrades card replaced with a real 828 crew photo
  • Colour, crop and retouch so the photos hold up at full width on a phone
  • We work from the shots you send. Faces toward the camera, hands on the work.
03
A portfolio of your work
Phase 1
$180

A proper portfolio section for the work you have already done. Right now the site describes your services but shows none of the jobs, and for commercial buyers the jobs are the argument.

  • New section built in English and Spanish, sitting between services and the contact form
  • Each job can carry a photo and a line about what the work was, residential or commercial
  • The UTEP jobs are the obvious first entries. Anyone in El Paso recognizes the campus on sight, and it is not work every shop gets
  • Built so your assistant can hand us new job photos and we add them without a rebuild
04
A way to reach you without calling
Phase 1
$180

Right now the only thing a visitor can do on a phone is call. Judy's point was the right one, plenty of people will not.

  • Text Us button next to Call, visible without opening the hamburger menu
  • Contact form at the foot of the page, the place people look for it
  • Both in English and Spanish, matching the site you already have
  • Consent wording on the form, which the carriers require before you can text a customer back
05
Google Business Profile audit
Phase 1 · not taxed
$180

Your profile is currently tied to a personal Gmail account. That is worth fixing on its own, and it has to be fixed before review automation can run cleanly.

  • One of our team sits with you, screen shared or at the office, whichever you prefer
  • Ownership moved onto a business account, with you and Lily holding proper access
  • Listing checked over: hours, service area, categories, photos
  • Findings in writing when we are done, including anything we think should change

Professional services are not taxed in Texas, so this line carries no sales tax.

06
The portal, switched back on
Phase 2
$350

The setup was paid for a while ago and the account is still there. Billing was removed so nothing could charge you by accident, which is also why some of it is locked. This turns it back on.

  • Account restored and billing put back so the locked features open up
  • Google, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and email all routing into one inbox
  • Contacts and conversation history checked over before your team starts using it
  • Lily walked through it, with Judy sitting in if she wants to
07
Reviews answered, and Sparky on the site
Phase 2
$1,050

You have Google reviews sitting unanswered, including recent ones. And the chat assistant we built for 828 is still there, switched off.

  • Review responses drafted and posted automatically, with the wording softened on anything under four stars
  • Chat widget placed back on the site and wired into the portal, so a message from the website reaches the same inbox as everything else
  • Sparky switched on and trained on how your team actually writes, not a generic voice
  • Answers in English or Spanish depending on how the customer opens
  • A person always comes first. Messages hit your team's phones, and Sparky only answers if nobody has picked it up in about ten seconds
  • Every conversation lands in the portal inbox, so nothing sits in someone's personal messages
  • You can read everything it sends, and switch it off at any time
08
Your number, off Spectrum
Phase 2
$175

On our call we could not promise this. We have since checked, and it can be done. 915-271-9524 moves onto the platform and you keep it.

  • Your office number ports over, so nothing on your trucks, cards or listings has to change
  • Calls ring your phone and Lily's at the same time, whoever picks up first takes it
  • The same number can receive texts, which a landline cannot
  • Timing matters here. This is easiest to do before you close the Spectrum account, so tell us before you switch to AT&T
09
828electric.com, the address on your trucks
Phase 2
$350

Your trucks say 828electric.com. The site currently lives at 828electricep.com. Moving the site is far cheaper than re-lettering a fleet.

  • Domain transferred from Judy's account once she sends the login to info@dropdev.co
  • Site moved across, with the old address redirecting so no existing link breaks
  • Certificate reissued so the padlock stays green
  • Instagram, Google Business and Housecall Pro updated to the new address
One-time, both phases
Phase 1 site work$720.00
8.25% TX sales tax$59.40
Google Business Profile audit$180.00
Professional services, not taxable in TX$0.00
Phase 2 setup$1,925.00
8.25% TX sales tax$158.81
Total$3,043.21

Phase 1 on its own is $959.40. Phase 2 on its own is $2,083.81. Half on approval and half on delivery for whichever you take, and we will move that split if it suits the business better.

What it costs to run

Two fixed lines plus what you use, no contract, cancel whenever. Phase 1 has no monthly cost at all.

LayerOne portal
The inbox itself, every channel, plus the chat widget on the site and Sparky. You asked on the call whether the widget cost extra. It does not, it is inside this.
$50
Your phone number
Covers the line and the carrier registration that keeps texting compliant. This is the same 915-271-9524 you have now.
$5
Calls and texts
Billed on what you actually use, separate from the two lines above. It is passed through at what it costs us, with no markup from us on top. We will walk you through those rates before anything can send, and nothing goes out until you have approved them.
On usage
Per month, before usage$55

You will drop the Spectrum landline charge when the number moves, so compare this against that bill rather than against zero. We did not add WhatsApp, since you passed on it, and it is easy to add later if Angel wants it.

Order of work

Phases, not calendar months. We do not promise you a date we cannot hold, and one piece running long does not push the rest.

Before anything else
The number, if you are taking Phase 2
The port has to start before the Spectrum account closes. If AT&T is close, tell us and we move this to the front, ahead of everything else on this page.
First week
Google Business audit, then the site
We start with the Google audit because review automation cannot run correctly until the profile is off a personal account. The verse, the About copy and the contact form follow.
As photos arrive
Crew photos and previous work
This one moves at the speed of your assistant's camera. We put up what you send, when you send it, and there is no charge for swapping an image later if you find a better one.
Once Judy sends the login
Domain move to 828electric.com
Nothing here is blocked waiting on it, so it can happen whenever the credentials land at info@dropdev.co.
After the portal is live
Sparky and review responses
We run it past you before it answers a single customer. You read what it says, you tell us what sounds wrong, and it only goes live when you are happy with the voice.

What happens next

1
You press approve on whichever phase you wantDavid gets a text the moment you do. No form, no call needed, and approving one phase does not commit you to the other.
2
We send the invoice for the first halfThrough LayerOne, the same way you have been billed before. Work starts once it clears.
3
Two things we need from your sideJudy sends the domain login to info@dropdev.co, and your assistant keeps the job photos coming. Everything else is on us.
4
You see it before your customers doNothing goes live without you looking at it first. That includes the About copy, the photos, and every word Sparky is trained to say.

Anything here you want changed?

If a line does not make sense, or Angel wants something taken off, write it here. It comes straight to David.

Prepared from our call on August 7, 2026, with Veronica Mancilla and Judy.
Nothing on this page is a contract, and no monthly charge starts until Phase 2 is live.
